The Summary tab provides a snapshot of all incidents a student has been involved in during the academic year. It includes the following columns:
- Category: The nature of the incident.
- School Year: The academic year the incident occurred.
- Type: Selected from a dropdown list in the Details tab.
- Severity: The level of seriousness of the incident.
- Role: The student's role in the incident (Accused, Unknown, Victim, Witness).
- Occurred: The date when the incident happened.
- Demerit: The penalty issued by the school administration.

To enter a new incident for a student, follow these steps:
- Navigate to the Student: Behavior feature. This triggers a search functionality popup. Click Find to populate the students in the Behavior feature. After the students are displayed, the system redirects back to the Behavior feature.
- Create a new incident by clicking New on the Details tab. The previously greyed-out fillable fields will become editable.
- Fill in all the text boxes and dropdown fields in the upper section of the Details tab.
- Fill in the "Reported by" field by clicking the (...) button, which brings up a list of students or staff to select a name from.
- Infractions: Displays the total number of incidents a student has.
- Complete all subtabs to provide detailed information about the incident. This step is recommended for a full understanding of the incident but is not mandatory.
To edit a student behavior record, follow these steps:
- Navigate to the Student: Behavior feature. This triggers a search functionality popup. Click Find to populate the students in the Behavior feature. After the students are displayed, the system redirects back to the Behavior feature.
- Select the student whose record needs editing. The incidents associated with the student will appear in the Details tab.
- Use the Infractions navigation buttons to find the specific incident to edit. Once located, click Edit to make changes to the selected behavior record.
